India the rough idea & photos on canvas

Hi again!

Yes I’m still alive and giving it my best. Been tied up with university lately, organising things for the trip to India over summer, and gettin upto speed on various photographic related thingos.

The India trip is coming together nicely, I’m still doing research but at the moment our route looks a little like this:

India plan rough

We will be starting in Delhi toward the end of November, moving north to Leh (or there abouts) then south through the center (hopefully through the desert in Rajastahan) to Mumbai (Bombay), then down the west coast, across to Chennai and (fingers crossed) on a 3 day (100km) boat trip to the Andaman Islands, then back to Chennai where we fly out from in February.

I’m buying a new camera for the trip, a Nikon D80, and been studying photography a bit so hope to have even better photos than the last trip.

Study is coming along ok - the end of semester exams will carry the weight for me though. Annerley is a great suburb to avoid distraction although I have been finding myself a little isolated living away from the usual West End crowd.

Something exciting (for me) will be getting the following photos printed and mounted on canvas by Brilliant Prints.

Necker river tuebingen

Neckar & The old town in Tübingen, Germany, a small university town that survived bombings of the second world war and retains some traditional buildings.

Anataia Thailand

Ayutthaya, Thailand sunset by temples in the ancient capital of Thailand.

The panorama image will be printed 100×30cm, while the colorful sunset from the boat will be printed 46×34cm. If I am happy with the quality of the prints, then I might add canvas this as a printing option for my photography at lightfootphotos.com.

I hope you are all well and enjoying life wherever you may be.

Nathan
