The routine, getting back into it.
Wednesday, August 1st, 2007Yes I am alive, I’ve just been very busy and was a bit stressed in the first couple of weeks back. Things are smoothing (not slowing) down now.
I’ve caught up with many friends and family, have found some of my worldly possessions, tracked down my missing bike, moved into my new place, am getting familure with my public transport options (which pale in comparision to Germany), and finally have the internet!
Yes, I miss Germany very much, and am a little bummed that I haven’t been speaking much German since being back. If you speak a little German and have some time to chat please get in touch - I’ll be your best friend.
High on the list of things that take up lots of time now I’m living alone, are cooking meals and eating well (we used to share cooking and eat a lot of pizza), study, and an hour or two a day on public transport.
I’m enrolled in 3 subjects at the moment, and they are all quite hard. I’ will have to bust my ass to get some good marks if I want to be considered for honors. So sorry if I am a little distant these days. Its nothing personal.
Lastly, I am planning my trip to India at the end of the Semester t-4months and counting. I’ve got the lonely planet out from the library and am slowly working my way through it. Return flights are a little more expensive than I thought, but that supply and demand I guess as it will be the best time of year to visit India. If you have any ideas about places that we should not miss in India, or perhaps just some good stories, please send them in.
Well, until my next speratic procrastination break, live long and prosper.
